uPVC remains the most popular window material due to 3 crucial points;
Thanks to exciting advances in technology, homeowners are no longer restricted to simple white uPVC frames. With a wide range of colours and woodgrain effects available, choose from on-trend Anthracite Grey uPVC windows to peaceful Chartwell Green uPVC windows and everything else in between.
With a uPVC window, there’s no need to worry about fading, re-painting or rust issues – all they need is a quick wipe over with a damp cloth every now and then to keep them looking their very best.
uPVC flush sash, sliding sash & arch picture windows case study
Committed to quality, at Stormclad we manufacture a range of high-performance timber windows to suit a variety of traditional properties. Wooden windows remain a firm favourite, thanks to:
Timber windows gracefully accommodate any period or listed property, even those situated in conservation areas. Able to last up to 50 years, we manufacture and install bespoke flush sash, storm casement and vertical sliding timber sash windows with ease and finesse.
As local timber window experts, if you have any questions or queries please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Aluminium has always featured prominently in commercial construction projects, but as the need for a slim modern alternative has increased so has the popularity of aluminium window frames. Homeowners that opt for these windows achieve:
As accredited suppliers of the premium Origin aluminium window collection, we offer two ultra-slim profiles; OW80 and OW70. We also manufacture our own aluminium window collection.
If you’re looking for a window frame that will bring your home up-to-date, whilst improving thermal efficiency and enhancing far-reaching views at the same time, aluminium windows should be your first choice.
Once you have chosen your window material, it’s time to decide on the style. Catering for all tastes and all property types, we offer two high-performance casement windows in premium aluminium profiles and casement windows, flush sash windows, bay windows and sliding sash windows in strengthening uPVC and timber profiles. Whether it’s a small window or a whole wall of windows, no job is too big or too small for the Stormclad team.
Why not completely transform the look of your home, with a matching door installation? Manufactured on a bespoke basis and tailored to your exact size, colour and style specifics, it couldn’t be easier with our range of flexible finance options.
Delivering the highest quality double glazing that the region has to offer, Stormclad double glazed windows effectively keep the cold out and the warmth in.
Increasing home security and reducing the chance of condensation and noise disturbances, our A+ rated double glazing truly makes draughts a thing of the past.
No-one wants to lose money, quite literally, out of the window! Our entire window range helps you to save energy, which reduces household energy bills and, in-turn, protects the environment. So, it’s a win-win for everyone!
Saving up to £110 a year on fuel bills, each window is fitted with a bespoke thermal break as standard – which drastically reduces airflow through the system.
Confidence in your home security comes as standard with Stormclad window installations. Utilising a Twin Sliding Locking System (TSL), featuring a bi-directional, dual espagnolette locking device, maximum protection is guaranteed with Stormclad window installations.
We’re different from other double glazing firms, as our window products go one step further when it comes to security. Many companies use an insecure single locking system that’s easy to force, but, alongside the TSL system, we provide enhanced resistance against intrusion via high-performance hinge protectors fitted to the back of the window sash. Peace of mind doesn’t stop there, as we fit fire escape hinges where required by Building Control legislation.
Rigorously tested for the highest quality, durability and reliability, get the most out of your home with a Stormclad installation.
