Each project timeline will be slightly different, depending on individual factors. Your specific time estimations will be provided as soon as it’s possible to give them to you.
On average, a front door takes 1 or 2 days to install, and a full house of windows usually takes 3 to 4 days.
As a new conservatory is a larger installation, this can take up to 6 weeks from the first day of the build to completion.
No, the homeowner isn’t required to be at the property, however, our installers will need to be provided entry at the beginning of the day. We prefer for the homeowner to be present once the installation has been completed so they can check the completed project. This is a great way for you to provide feedback, and for our expert fitters to answer any questions you may have on the product functionalities and maintenance requirements.
To ensure for a hassle-free process, our fitters bring dust sheets to cover the floor and any furniture in the area. They’ll also clean up after the installation, so you won’t need to worry about hoovering, dusting or brushing up any debris!
We recommend you move any valuable items or pieces of furniture into another room. A clear room with no obstacles provides the installers with more space so they can easily take out old windows or doors with minimum disruption. We also suggest that you remove lampshades and curtains.
A clear path from your home to the front or back door is required to carry tools and your new products. We ask that pets are kept in a separate room for their safety and also to avoid them being upset by loud noises.
Our installer’s van will need a parking space close to your home. Whether this is on your driveway or on your road, we ask that you make sure there is a clear space before they arrive so they can get to work as quickly as possible.
For replacement windows, doors, carports and verandas planning permission are not usually needed. Most homeowners won’t require permissions for a new conservatory either, however, some properties will need to be granted with approval. We can advise on whether this will be necessary for your home during your bespoke design consultation.
