BFRC
The British Fenestration Rating Council (BFRC) was formed in 1998 to develop a window-specific rating system, in conjunction with the home improvements industry. They came up with a system that is similar to those used on domestic appliances such as fridges, freezers, washing machines and other household products. All Stormclad Windows are A+ Rated, meaning that they’re some of the most thermally efficient home improvement products on the market today.
The Chartered Trading Standards Institute
The Chartered Trading Standards Institute (CTSI) operates a Consumer Code Approval Scheme, whereby organisations that operate consumer-facing codes of practice can apply to CTSI for approval of their codes. The Code of Practice that members of the Glass & Glazing Federation (GGF) work to has been approved by CTSI. Stormclad works to this Code of Practice for the benefit of its customers.

FENSA
FENSA stands for the Fenestration Self-Assessment Scheme and was established to enable companies that install replacement windows and doors to self-certify Building Regulations compliance, without the need for a separate assessment from Building Control. In short, because Stormclad is a FENSA registered company, you have complete peace of mind that your installation will be fully compliant with building regulations.

Stormclad are members of The Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF) to offer complete peace of mind for your home improvement project. When you choose Stormclad you benefit from a host of features, including Guarantees, Transferable Warranties and Alternative Dispute Resolution in the rare case of a disagreement. Origin Bi-Fold install.
Had my first dealing with Stormclad and what an amazing company to deal with. From the beginning to the very end I cant find a fault with them. I had a window taken out and Origin Bi-fold fitted. Both the installer – Wayne and the plasterer – Martin have done a first first class job. I’m already looking into another bi-fold with them and I suspect the level of quality and detail will again be up there. K

Great service again
Having previously used Stormclad to install doors for us, we had no hesitation in using them again when we required some new windows. We received the same first class service as on previous occasions. From the initial consultation with Sally, subsequent interaction with Allison, to the fitting by Wayne the process was very smooth. Wayne arrived to carry out the fitting at a time which was convenient for us, and worked tirelessly to complete the installation. He was very pleasant, respectful of our home and very neat in his work. We could not have asked for more!

Brilliant Service!
Would recommend Stormclad to anyone. We had windows and doors for our new house and we love them. The journey started with Sally, she was great. Very knowledgeable, straight to the point and none of the usual salesperson waffle you get with some companies.
Price was within our budget.
The quality of the products are great. The fitting team, Chris and Tommy were very good, they didn’t stop, tidied up well after themselves and were very respectful of our home.
The office staff were also very polite and efficient.
We will definitely be back in the future for any further home improvements that we decide to do.
